Multi award- winning singer, songwriter and composer Kate Miller-Heidke, has released five albums with considerable chart success, composed the opera “The Rabbits” with Iain Grandage, and co-created “The Book of Sand” an interactive work for screen. She completed a Masters in Music at QUT, and was recently named QUT’s Outstanding Alumni Award winner for 2016.

Naomi Price is an Australian singer, known for appearing in the fourth season of the Australian version of The Voice. She is also highly regarded for roles in her original creations Rumour Has It: Sixty Minutes Inside Adele and Wrecking Ball. Naomi has an illustrious career as a ‘straight’ actor too, most recently appearing in “Ladies in Black” at the Queensland Theatre Company and “Richard III” at La Boite.

Carita Farrer has been a professional performer for 20 years having graduated from QUT in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts (Acting). In the last decade Carita has become synonymous with her quirky and immensely funny cabaret shows as well as her work in live theatre which includes performances with MTC, QTC and Hothouse Theatre Co. Carita is also an experienced writer and director as well as a highly sought after teacher currently working with the students at Melbourne's National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA).

Michelle’s dance career has spanned over 25 years. She was part of the Australian Dance Theatre in Europe, Portugal and Sweden. On returning to Australia, Michelle was a founding member of Splintergroup and worked at Dancenorth for five years in various capacities. At 30, the peak of her career, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Although MS has irreparably damaged Michelle’s physical prowess, it cannot undermine a lifetime of physical artistry and creative expression. Michelle was appointed Artist Director of Restless Dance Theatre in 2013 and during this time she performed nationally and internationally and won countless awards for her performances. Michelle was inducted into the South Australian Woman’s Honour Roll in 2015. Last year also she performed her own work “Intimacy” in London’s Southbank.

DeepBlue the orchestra unleashed comprises strings, electronics and physical theatre amplified and magnified by video and interactivity. Their performances combine the lush strings of an orchestra, the groove of a band, the drama of theatre, and the excitement of a circus. The group remixes Radiohead, Gotye, Bowie, and even Ravel, and their DeepBlue originals combining lush strings with big beats. The performers’ exquisite playing, precision moves, physical antics and immersive visuals have enthralled audiences around Australia and the world.
