One of the most asked questions about the universe is ‘How big is it?’ — and that’s one of the hardest to answer.

Big takes an audience on an immersive journey to the furthest reaches of the universe that we are currently able to observe. Along the way, the audience is introduced to the concept of the speed of light, and they meet a huge range of objects to spark their imagination.

The Mobile Cinema Experience provides educational and entertainment resources to help students understand and engage in key learning areas and cross curricular content. Our pioneering mobile cinema dome showcases 3D and 2D films in a 360 degree viewing platform for a completely immersive cinematic experience. Multiple film options featuring a wide range of content, makes the Mobile Cinema Experience suitable for schools, festivals, corporate and private events.

The duration is 25-30 mins for each film

The Mobile Cinema Experience team has over 20 Years of experience in the field of education, culture and innovation. Over 200 schools and businesses are a part of the MCE Community and we are continuing to grow. Nicolas and David from MCE visualized the idea of an expansion to Australia in early 2016 and have worked hard to provide Queensland with a product that facilitates deeper learning and astounding entertainment for the 21st century.

The Making Of

How did you make it?

We have several films in our archive to suit multiple age groups and interests. As well as educational films, MCE is establishing partnerships with local production and film teams, to showcase new content for mature age groups that will excite the senses and take you on a creative and interpretive journey through the universe and the mind.
The Mobile cinema experience team have established strong relationships with manufacturers and audio visual pioneers from around the globe and within Australia to give you an experience never seen before. The MCE team continues to develop films and infrastructure to provide you the latest in 360 degree cinema.

What's the point of difference?

Our goal at MCE is to provide a platform for learning and entertainment that is truly unique. We are transforming dated traditional viewing platforms into a new way of experiencing entertainment. Being immersed in 360 degree cinema along with 2D and 3D technology, MCE provides an experience that not only informs students and adults of content and narratives but also engages the individual’s senses to achieve deeper learning and an unforgettable experience.

What’s coming soon to the MCE community? Mobile cinema experience is currently working with suppliers and manufacturers to bring you virtual reality systems as well! We are continuing to research the possibilities of film creations for such systems and will incorporate this into our promise of providing you the latest in educational entertainment and progressive cinema.
